Mohydeen Quandour on their first collaboration, an anticipated romantic comedy entitled "A Facebook Romance," shot in Amman, Jordan. Salar starred in the romantic feature film, set across the beautiful Amman backdrop, as the rich Jordanian businessman Waleed Rami, a principle character role Salar performed with easy.
Besides being an Actor, Salar shot the feature film as it's RED cameraman and steady-cam operator. On this film Salar worked with famous Middle-eastern star Lamitta Frangieh and Mohamed Karim ("The Voice" presenter in Egypt).
In December 2012 'A Facebook Romance' premiered in the 10th Monaco International Film Festival, one of the premiere European film award festivals, as a nominee for an Angel Award. Salar was awarded with an honorable Angel Film Award collectively, in the category 'Best Cast Ensamble' in Monaco for "A Facebook Romance".
In March 2014, Salar met with Mohammed (imdb name Michel) Qissi, for many better known as the legendary antagonist fighter "Tong Po" from "Kickboxer", "Blood Sport" & "Lionheart" (all starring Jean-Claude van Damme), playing the legendary lead antagonist opposing JCVD.
After their meeting Salar was cast as "Jaafar", Bara's right hand (played by Mohammed Qissi) in "BARA" a.k.a. An Eye for an Eye, a six week shoot of the epic action/adventure feature film, shot in the sands of the great Sahara in Morocco, which was a large scope feature film production.
"BARA" was screened theatrically in major Moroccan cities and extremely well received by audiences. Salar is working with Mr. Qissi on multiple other international action films including also with JCVD.
In 2018, Salar was a cinematographer on feature film "Islamophobia" starring several Hollywood stars, including Chris Mulky from "Rambo: First Blood" starring as Levi. Salar played one of the lead roles in that film as Ali, an undercover CIA agent.
In 2019, Salar is starring and directing in international action/thriller feature film "Out for Vengeance", in which Mohammed Qissi (Tong Po) co-stars as Tarik, as well as action star Silvio Simac and many others.
Michael Dudikoff, well known as the star of the "American Ninja" films, has co-directed several scenes of "Out for Vengeance" in Amsterdam alongside Salar. The epic international action/thriller film features 20 international worldwide based actors, many of them well known of a variety of Hollywood studio films, in addition to many different blockbusters and have also starred in A-list Hollywood films directly with several biggest A list actors.
"Out for Vengeance", as of July 2019, is in it's final stages of production, the 2 hours action packed feature film will get a late 2019 red carpet premiere (Amsterdam, Pathe Tuschinski).Thereafter, upon the film screenings, Netlfix already having expressed interest as well as multiple LA based distributors to pick up the rights for a worldwide release, this popular genre feature film will get international release in most markets across all the main distribution platforms worldwide.
