Timothy Jeremiah Miller, known as TJ Miller was born in Neptune, NJ with his four sisters and two brothers; he is the middle brother in the family, raised on a small farm in Lititz, PA, by the Jewish traditions from his mother's side although his father pushed the family towards the Mennonite traditions.
His parents, Barbara and Donald started their own kosher bakery shop and TJ grew up to be a French style baker. As a child in Lititz, he found a real passion in acting while in high school. In his local theater he played in the Fidler on the Roof, The Wizard of Oz, Joseph and Jacob and Esau.
