Grant Douglas Bromley is an American independent filmmaker from Knoxville, TN.Prior to his senior year of high school, Grant attended the 2010 TN Governor's School For The Arts at MTSU where he studied film with Benjamin S.
Neal. Ben and Grant became friends while at the month-long film program, and began collaborating on films upon returning to Knoxville, TN.That fall, Ben and Grant began working on short script concepts together and came up with an idea entitled "Son".
This story evolved over the next year to become their directorial feature film debut, Dreams of the Wayward (2013) - which went on to premiere in competition at the inaugural Knoxville Film Festival in 2013.
After the premiere of their debut feature film, Ben and Grant produced six short films (three written and directed by Grant and the other three written and directed by Ben) while studying film at Watkins College of Art, Design & Film in Nashville, TN.
Grant received his Bachelor's degree in Fine Art with an emphasis in Screenwriting from Watkins College of Art, Design & Film in May of 2015. In May of 2017, Grant co-directed his second feature film, entitled Quit While We're Behind (2018), with fellow Watkins student Julian Ralston.
He is currently studying in the Film Studies MA program at Columbia University in New York City.
