He then realized his passion in acting grew stronger from being in front of the camera. Sterling fell in love with acting from the very first time he saw the movie 'Illegal Tender' staring Rick Gonzalez.
It has been since then Sterling followed his dream toward acting.In 2013 Sterling got a taste of Theatre performances being apart of the production of Phantom of the Opera playing in the supporting role in Ill Muto.
He then began to do more auditions in school landing him roles in Rebel Without a Cause playing Jim Stark (James Dean), and Les Miserable as the role of Foreman. Sterling completed his High School with the role of 'Foreman' in Les Miserable.
Before Sterling's move to Chicago, Cruze knew he didn't want to work a regular 9-5 on a weekly basis. Cruze went on to become a character CW's "Crime Stoppers Case Files Chicago". He then knew he was serious about his craft and went on to enroll in The Second City Training Center in Chicago.
Cruze then began to look into going to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.
