Michael graduated magna cum laude, as well as receiving three "Outstanding Graduating Student Awards" from the Theatre Department, College of Communications Fine Arts and Media, and the Dean's Award.After College, Michael started to focus less on theatre to pursue his career in film acting.
In the summer of 2018, he landed his first lead role in Skull Duggery Theatre's Film. "Level up" where he played Ried, a basketball coach/butcher who unknowingly gets sucked into a nuclear conspiracy.
