Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Te Ahaha NZ Institute of Creativity, Wellington, NZ in 2016. He started his career as a Police Officer and Detective in England and New Zealand before deciding on a career change after he auditioned for Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy.

He landed the important role of scale acting and stunt double for Richard Armitage. By the end of filming, he had not only performed in place of Richard but also played various other roles and been accepted into the Stunt Guild of New Zealand.

Whilst studying he took every opportunity to gain further experience. This resulted in roles in, New Zealand Opera's Flying Dutchman, the short films Far Away, Solomon, Fisk Mota and Trapped, as well as commercial work.

He focused his energy and enthusiasm into the challenging Samuel Beckett play, Krapp's last tape and performed it to a very positive reaction as his graduation piece. He again received good reviews for the devised piece Me/You/Us/Them, performed at Wellingtons' Bats Theatre.

He played Ketkrókur, a dark elf, in Universal Pictures hugely successful film Krampus, where he was able to draw on both his stunt and acting skills.Mark will appear in the eagerly anticipated Rocketman movie, due for release summer 2019.
