When Charlotte was a teenager she managed to join the cast of Theatre of Max Reinhardt where she helped with creating the scenery and costumes. Having a great artistic talent, Charlotte started drawing and carving the figures of the actors and actresses from the cast where she worked. Soon her creativity was noticed by the director and he used the figures for his film titles. Later on the girl attended the Institute of Cultural research where she got acquainted with her future collaborator and husband whose name was Carl Koch. The artist’s style was later laid in the basis of all the contemporary animation. Charlotte died in 1981, when she was eighty-two.
