Dan Marius Andreiu, at 12 years old, won the Physics Science Olympics with a perfect score at the highest level he was allowed to compete. In his hometown Timisoara, the first European city with street electric lighting, he studied computer science at one of the only 4 such special computer high-schools in the country at the time, studied art, and martial arts.
At 17, not wanting to be part of a mandatory boring annual school spectacle, he wrote and directed a play and a dance, that ended up such a big success, that students demanded to be replayed next year.
But in Communist Romania, being an artist was not a future for anyone of sound mind, and Dan never thought then to make a future out of it. In 1989, along with friends from his hometown, he was in the middle of the overthrew of the Communist Government fight, with an AK-47 and Molotov cocktails in hand, literally.
After the fall of communism he started the third Romanian-foreign company, doing business successfully on a international level. Traveling the world, Dan moved to the US at age 27. In 1996, he wrote and was set to direct the film Red Mercury.
However,..the project did not end well, and a similar movie ended up being made In GB next year... Dan became disgusted with authoring films in Hollywood, and instead, he started a boutique high-end car dealership.
In 2006, Dan invented and patented a "green technology" water-saving product, and he received Awards from the State of California for it. Recently Dan invented two other products, one in electrical bicycle efficiency domain, the other about the tactile use of a touch screen in a moving vehicle.
2010, Dan renewed his film technological knowledge at Los Angeles Film School, and again in 2014-15.Dan Andreiu past several years, with renewed enthusiasm, has author several projects.
