Chuck Zink was a south Florida celebrity icon for over 50 years. He hosted the early morning television show, Skipper Chuck from 1956-1979 on WTVJ-Miami. He is an Emmy Award winning writer, director, and producer.

From 1999-2005 he hosted his own radio show on WJNA from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. Monday thru Friday. He received a "Big Mike" award for Radio Personality of the Year in south Florida. On January 19, 2005, Chuck Zink announced his retirement and celebrated his farewell on a SeaEscape cruise with hundreds of his loyal fans.
