Sieling was born in Copenhagen. She completed her education as Actress at National Theatre School of Denmark in 1985. In 1895, she graduated from the National Film School of Denmark where she attended the screenplay line.
Between 1988 and 1991, Sieling was affiliated with the Royal Danish Theatre where her roles included the lead in the musical Esther. From 1992 to 1994, she was affiliated with the Betty Nansen Theatre.
