Anton Zwijsen is an actor, known for Detention (2019), Probable Cause and Prayers of Light (2018). He played in lots of movies and commercials throughout Europe. He is specialized in Japanese martial arts and holds a Master of Science degree in Physics and Astronomy.

While still at University, Anton started out on his acting career. He soon landed several (inter)national roles in (tv)-commercials, feature films, short films, corporate films and music videos throughout The Netherlands, Belgium and the UK.

You might have seen Zwijsen in commercials for Amstel Beer, Stimorol and the Dutch Ministry of Finance, to name a few. He played a big role in the international feature film Detention, by well- known Belgian movie director Johan Vandewoestijne (aka James Desert).

He also stars in former Iron Maiden singer Blaze Bayley's music video Prayers Of Light next to World Wrestling Federation legend Chris Jericho. Zwijsen has been announced to star in the feature film Probable Cause as a first name on the poster.

It is rumoured that he will be playing a lead role in the sequel of the famous 1988 horror film Rabid Grannies, going in production later this year, called Rabid Grannies II: Ravenshore.Since childhood Anton Zwijsen has been fascinated by the Japanese martial arts, in which he is now specialised and holds several black belts.

He holds a second degree black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, a black belt in Judo and intensively trains Karate, Aikido, Iaido (the Japanese sword), Kyusho-Jitsu (pressure point fighting) and Kobudo (traditional weapons).

In 2014 Zwijsen travelled to Japan for three months intensive training with grandmasters of Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Aikido and Karate. After that, Anton built a comprehensive YouTube channel where he demonstrates his most spectacular martial arts techniques.

On a musical level Zwijsen is skilled on guitar, piano, bass guitar and bodhrán as well as in composition theory. His competence in the field of music is partly self-taught and partly developed at de Kunsthumaniora in Antwerp and at the conservatoire in Ghent.

Anton regularly performs shows with well-known guitar virtuoso, his brother, Thomas Zwijsen. Anton Zwijsen composes his own music as well. In his composition Galactic Revenge he combined his skills on guitar, piano and composition, visually with a spectacular martial arts choreography.
