Before Fame

When he was just eight years old, he made his (uncredited) screen acting debut in The Ghost of Frankenstein. Before launching an adult career as a stuntman and actor, he served in the United States Air Force and earned a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University and a master's degree (in Russian Studies) from the University of California-Los Angeles.

His notable film credits include roles in Eye of the Tiger (1986), Red Dawn (1984), and The Mean Season (1985). In addition, he appeared in numerous horror movies of the 1980s, '90s, and early 2000s.
