Their methodical approach to life ensures that nothing is left to chance, and although they are often tender, their heart might be closed for the outer world. This is a sign often misunderstood, not because they lack the ability to express, but because they won’t accept their feelings as valid, true, or even relevant when opposed to reason. The symbolism behind the name speaks well of their nature, born with a feeling they are experiencing everything for the first time.

He is mainly remembered for being the co-director of Wege zu Kraft und Schönheit - Ein Film über moderne Körperkultur (1925), whose alleged subject is "modern physical culture", but which mainly exalts naturism.

Besides this exception, most of Prager's short movies are educational (Kulturfilme), about horses (his hobby-horse!), customs, traditions and landscapes of Germany. Declared "Half-Jewish" in 1939 by the Gestapo, Wilhelm Prager was nevertheless allowed to remain a member of the Reichskammer, enabling him to work for four more years until his retirement in 1943.
