He competed in Bobsleigh and represented Great Britain for seven years. Before pursuing sports competitively, he served Great Britain in its Armed Forces. While in the Army, he discovered his potential as a competitor.
After service, he went into bobsleigh and then after seven years, moved into track and field. His track and field specialties included 400m hurdles and half-marathons.Gordon's next move would be entering the industry of entertainment.
He quickly launched his acting career in 2005 appearing as a cornerman in Russell Crowe's boxing drama Cinderella Man (2005). He also appeared in the Daniel Craig James Bond film Skyfall (2012). 2008 marked the beginning of his training for stunt performances.
