Wayne Caparas is a writer, media producer, business developer and occasional performing artist who lives in Franklin, TN, just south of Nashville. Before the turn of the century, Wayne was recognized among the top public relations pioneers in the fitness industry.

His earliest professional production efforts dealt with fitness media and the pioneering of obstacle course sports for broadcast on ESPN. In addition to the development of an award-winning chain of health clubs in Charleston, S.

C., Wayne was a co-publisher of Vie Magazine and was instrumental in the conception and launch of Oxygen Magazine, where he served as a contributing editor and research journalist for its first three years on the newsstand.

Wayne has received extensive training as an actor and director for both film and stage, including long-term study with the New American Stage Company in New York and Charleston. His film career began with the 1988 film Quiet Victory, where he served as the technical director for the football-related film, taking on an active directing role for the on-field and workout scenes.

Peter Berg, Kyle Chandler, Stephen Dorf, Michael Nouri, Pam Dawber, Dan Lauria, Reginald VelJohnson, and Nobel Willingham were among the all-star cast he was tasked to direct while still just a college student.

Upon launching his health club business in 1989 he continued studying stage and film as a hobby, and eventually earned his SAG card in 1994 for his role as Pepe Alvarez in the screenplay adaptation of Truman Capote's "Other Voices Other Rooms.

" His hobby continued to thrive as he filled small film roles throughout the '90s, and he eventually began writing and directing large-scale passion plays and musicals for churches in Charleston. After a serious thyroid disorder prompted a career change as a writer/journalist and derailed his filmmaking efforts, he developed a full acting curriculum and worked on the side as an acting coach and talent/model scout.

This trend continued until 2005 when documentary short films and music production took over as his primary side interests. After a 15 year hiatus from the movie business, Wayne broke back into film acting in 2016 with recurring roles in The Detour and The Vampire Diaries and has followed with several principal and lead roles in a variety of genres.

He continues as an occasional film actor working out of Nashville, where he also teaches acting for film and stage to private students. Wayne has also developed a curriculum that teaches the art and science to "breaking into the biz" and "auditioning in the digital age" specifically designed for talents who live in the south.

Wayne is the author of "BioLogic Revelation" (Spring of 2017). The book and video series have been endorsed by several international health and fitness experts, including New York Times Bestselling author Dr.

Adrienne Denese, M.D, who is widely recognized among the world's leading anti-aging experts.
