In August 2007, Tre made national headlines when he smashed open the window of a locked car to rescue a dog that was in imminent danger of dying from heat exhaustion. Smith arrested and charged the dog's owner with Animal Cruelty under the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused plead guilty and Tre became a hero to animal rights activists across Canada.Tre is now a married father of 3 and continues acting alongside a busy professional career and family.
