Teddy Tetzlaff’s zodiac sign is Aquarius. According to astrologers, the presence of Aries always marks the beginning of something energetic and turbulent. They are continuously looking for dynamic, speed and competition, always being the first in everything - from work to social gatherings. Thanks to its ruling planet Mars and the fact it belongs to the element of Fire (just like Leo and Sagittarius), Aries is one of the most active zodiac signs. It is in their nature to take action, sometimes before they think about it well.
Teddy Tetzlaff was born in the Year of the Goat. Those born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Goat enjoy being alone in their thoughts. They’re creative, thinkers, wanderers, unorganized, high-strung and insecure, and can be anxiety-ridden. They need lots of love, support and reassurance. Appearance is important too. Compatible with Pig or Rabbit.
Teddy Tetzlaff was one of the best-known American racing car drivers of the early 20th century, and he held several different speed records at one time or another. In 1914, Tetzlaff set a world speed record of over 142 miles per hour on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, and once in a race at Corona, California Tetzlaff turned in what at the time was the fastest lap speed in the USA.
Tetzlaff also twice briefly held the one-lap qualifying record at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, but he was never able to win the Indy 500. He drove in the race four times, with his best finish being second place in 1912.
Tetzlaff was featured in The Speed Kings (1913) with Mabel Normand.
