She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on November 3, 1968. She grew up in Pelham, Alabama and she completed runway/still modeling, makeup application(MUA) and acting training courses at Elan and Casablanca then graduated from Pelham High School.
She obtained a 4 year BS Degree in Criminology in 3 years at Jacksonville State University where she majored in Forensic Science and minored in Law Enforcement. She studied forensic science, crime scenes, kinetic interviewing, law enforcement, psychology, family counseling, social work, photography, financing, financial management, data analysis, security clearances, law and court orders both nation wide and international extensively among many others to expand her wide range of abilities before retiring from the field of criminology and beginning to create stories of what she had seen and experienced on life's journey to be made into books/film.
She has two daughters, one of which has natural musical and voice talents plus kept her entertained throughout the child's childhood and peek her curiosity for the entertainment industry. It wasn't until Tammie was asked to appear in a movie and TV series, that she decided to pursue acting, became serious about acting and made her debut in the wedding party of Fighting Belle the Movie (2017), as a detective, dancer and Mardi Gras reveler on NCIS: New Orleans (2017), as the Tactical Supervisor in "The Task" web series (2016-2017) and Bridge of the Doomed (2020) as an Executive Producer where she echoed the Assistant Director to help the set run smoother and everything run more efficiently on set and helped the PA's with daily tasks including making sure actors arrived timely on set and received everything they needed including minor medical care.
On Bridge of the Doomed, she also worked with the Art Department helping with wardrobes, props and she designed the rope safety harness used to hang an actor safely from the bridge during filming, as well as playing the three roles of Zombie 17, Zombie 22 and a Corpse in the military tent scene showing her multi-talented skills, multitasking abilities, outgoing personality and ability to fit in anywhere needed becoming a much needed asset on set.
