Stephanie Sorensen is an American actress of Eastern European descent who grew up in the northeast as a young child but later in the southeast in her high school and college years. Always having a strong passion for performing arts, while in college, she performed for the jazz band, symphony and local wind ensemble as a alto and tenor saxophonist.
After college she decided to pursue acting and has performed in a variety of commercials, theater, film and television series in both supporting and principal roles.Wanting to master her craft, Stephanie has studied the Eric Morris Method extensively under acting coach Kathy Laughlin.
She has also studied under other well known names in the southeast such as Andi Matheny, Armand Assante, Ricky Wayne, Lori Wyman and Eugenie Bondurant, also known as the "Tigris" from The Hunger Games.
Currently, Stephanie studies under award winning actor and instructor, Lee Perkins.Stephanie is best known for having come in 2nd place in a national firefighting contest hosted by Firehouse Magazine and Kidde Fire Safety called the Step Up and Stand Out.
During this time, Stephanie brought awareness for the need for volunteers by appearing in Firehouse Magazine, Glamour Magazine, guest appearing on the morning talk show "The Morning Blend", radio talk show "Drew Garabo Live" and WTSP's "Bobby Lewis On the Road" where she describes her inspirational story of how her house being lost to a fire as a child inspired her to become a firefighter.
