Shar is an actress, film festival director, and producer. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and later raised in Chicago, Shar developed a love for the entertainment industry at an early age. She explored her passion for acting and ballet throughout high school and college where she excelled both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.
She studied Improv at Columbia College before receiving her bachelor's degree in Psychology and her Master's in Counseling and Therapy in Illinois. After taking acting classes at Act I Studios in Chicago, she later relocated to California where she was able to continue her pursuit of the entertainment field.
She began taking private acting lessons to perfect her craft. She was later hired as the Festival Director for the Beverly Hills Film Festival. She worked and continues to be a liaison for independent filmmakers, screenwriters and producers in order to bring projects together so that they could be developed to their fullest potential.
She is also a strong child advocate for abused children in foster care. Shar has produced four films and is in the development stage of a number of feature films.
