Her sister Suna Kirac and brother Mustafa Rahmi Koc are also billionaires. In January 2016, Rahmi's son Mustafa, CEO of Koc Holding, died of a heart attack, at age 56. Omer Koc, Mustafa's brother, succeeded him as CEO. The Koc Group operates in four main sectors: energy, automotive, durable consumer goods and finance.
