Ryan was born December 28, 1984, in Wainwright Alberta, Canada, to mother Wanda Irene Gray and Kenneth Harold Bueckert. Ryan's middle name is after his father. When he was a few months old, Ryan moved to a farm outside the small town of Foam Lake, Saskatchewan.
His parents bought the town theater, and soon they moved into the condo above it. Ryan spent the following years growing up surrounded by movies of every kind. This fueled his creativity, and was soon writing his own stories and screenplays.
In the summer of 1997, he and his mother and sister moved out to British Columbia, where he then went to Stelly's High School, in Victoria. There, he took part in an extra curricular cinematography club.
He wrote, directed, and starred in various projects, which then prompted him to enroll into the film production program at the Victoria Motion Picture School after high school. He worked on various student projects, and had acting parts in every one, three of them leads.
After film school, he enrolled into a number of acting workshops. He is now in Vancouver, auditioning and training. Is a recent student of the Schoolcreative acting school in Vancouver.
