Together with her son Luca and daughter Alessandra, Rosa Anna Magno Garavoglia led the company through a period of aggressive acquisitions and an IPO in 2001. The Garavoglias were in the limelight in 2000, when they were sued by Maddalena Garavoglia, another of Rosa Anna's daughters, who alleged that she was being pushed out of the family unfairly; the suit was settled in 2006 for $100 million.
