Ronnie Graham is the first child of Angela Graham and Gary Haynes, and has 12 half siblings between his two parents. His love of the arts stems from his elementary school trips to operas and Broadway performances.
For a brief part of his childhood, Ronnie lived in Sangre Grande, Trinidad, with his devout Christian Grandmother and attributes a lot of his creative ability to time spent living in a rural community and exploring all the nuances that go with having a lot of "quiet alone time.
" At age 13 Ronnie returned to the US and graduated High School in 1992, a year earlier than his peers. In 1996, Ronnie started attending Lee College in Baytown TX. His Father urged him to take an acting class to rid himself of his Caribbean accent.
Ronnie's acting debut at Lee College was in the play Bury the Dead directed by Lynette Perkins. Three years and 14 stage productions later, Ronnie earned a Theater degree. After his marriage to Simone Lumsden and the birth of his first son, Jehdiah, Ronnie moved to Florida and enrolled at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University to pursue his first dream of becoming an airline pilot.
Unfortunately, his dream slipped away when he realized he could not overcome airsickness. Instead, Ronnie changed his major and graduated with a degree in Meteorology, Air Safety and Air Traffic Control.
Ronnie declined an Air Traffic Control job in Miami because his desire to perform outweighed the prospect of a career in aviation. In 2004 Ronnie jumped into the commercial and modeling industry in Orlando, FL and appeared in numerous commercials, print ads, stage productions and independent films.
In 2011 he decided to take his talents to NYC after a collision with a deer totaled his car and left him financially impaired. The insurance company called the accident an "Act of God," so Ronnie has maintained that his move to NY was in essence a divine intervention.
Ronnie has pushed himself to explore more areas of the film industry by working in production, writing screenplays, voiceover work and dabbling in comedy. In addition to his passion for film, he is also writing a Tell-All book about his research on the game of craps and career as a casino craps dealer.
