Riya Ramaswamy was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She grew up trying out many different activities, but never found one that she really loved. She finally found a passion for acting around the age of 12 when she was taking an acting class in her middle school.
Riya has since then fell in love with the camera and is continuously training and working to improve her skills. She has acted in two short films, S'more Please (Lead) and Walk a Moment in Someone Else's Shoes (Supporting).
She has also written three short films, Live a Little, Miss Congeniality, and Clarke Clark. Along with acting, Riya also dances and learns a type of Indian Classical Dance called Bharatanatyam. In her free time she enjoys baking, volunteering at animal shelters, watching movies, and online shopping.
