Inspired by cinema and the musical scores from his favorite films, Ram began to compose seriously at the age of 15.In 2008, Ram achieved his Bachelor's degree in Music Composition (BMUS) at the respected Kingston University in London.

During his time at BMUS he was selected to write an orchestral composition for a public performance at London's Southbank Centre, as well as being invited to the Royal College of Music's prestigious composer workshop as the sole representative for his university.

Once there, he worked closely with the noted British conductor and film/television orchestrator, Christopher Austin ('Hyde Park on Hudson').On graduating, Ram began scoring for independent films, television and corporate projects.

That same year he launched his own music production company, Motion Sound Production, so that he could offer a more coherent musical package to film and television directors, producers and corporate clients.
