As a teenager, Paul was very active in local theater and had originally intended to go to college to major in communications. After doing a local television commercial for a beauty salon/school in his hometown, his mother suggested he become a hairdresser.

While Paul has worked as an educator and artist for L'Oreal Professionnel, salon stylist, and editorial artist; his love of the entertainment industry never died. In 2001 he fulfilled his dream of going to college and in 2005 he graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with a BFA in Film, Theater and Television Production.

Since then, Paul has worked on numerous films and television programs as well as pursued his own artistic expression as a photographer and makeup artist. Paul continues to seek out new opportunities to grow and learn with a passion for honing his skills.

Currently, he lives in New Rochelle, NY where he has a photo studio in his home and works as a stylist/colorist in Manhattan and Rye.
