Patti Deutsch’s zodiac sign is Capricorn. According to astrologers, Capricorn is a sign that represents time and responsibility, and its representatives are traditional and often very serious by nature. These individuals possess an inner state of independence that enables significant progress both in their personal and professional lives. They are masters of self-control and have the ability to lead the way, make solid and realistic plans, and manage many people who work for them at any time. They will learn from their mistakes and get to the top based solely on their experience and expertise.
Patti Deutsch was born in the Year of the Goat. Those born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Goat enjoy being alone in their thoughts. They’re creative, thinkers, wanderers, unorganized, high-strung and insecure, and can be anxiety-ridden. They need lots of love, support and reassurance. Appearance is important too. Compatible with Pig or Rabbit.
Deutsch married comedy Writer Donald Ross in 1968. They had three children: Max, Lee and Alexis. She occasionally appeared on both Match Game and Tattletales with her husband.
During the early years of the show The Electric Company, Deutsch did some voice work for some of the vignette cartoons alongside actor and show Writer Paul Dooley. Her later work included Monsters, Inc. and The Emperor's New Groove. She appeared in Grandpa Goes to Washington, which ran for about four months in 1978. She made a cameo appearance in the 1983 movie Mr. Mom, playing "The Deli Girl".
In the 1980s, Deutsch did voice-over work on Hanna Barbera's The Smurfs and in the 1990s Capitol Critters cartoon series. She provided the voice for "Mrs. Dave," the mother of "Dr. Dave" on the popular Nickelodeon cartoon, As Told by Ginger.
She appeared as a guest on the new GSN interstitial program GSN Live on March 7, 2008. On the 2009 GSN Game Show Awards, Deutsch, along with frequent panelists Joyce Bulifant and Nancy Dussault, accepted an award on behalf of Match Game, as the original host (Gene Rayburn) was deceased, as were original panelists Charles Nelson Reilly and Brett Somers.
She died of cancer on July 26, 2017, in Los Angeles, at age 73. She was survived by her husband, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law, and two grandchildren.
