Before Fame

He and Fujimoto published their first manga, Tenshi no Tama Chan, during their high school years. During his rise to artistic prominence, Abiko supported himself by working for the Toyama Newspaper Company.

Family Life

A native of Japan's Toyama Prefecture, he met and began collaborating with Fujimoto in elementary school. Abiko met his Future wife when he was in his early thirties.
