He made his Berlin debut in 1904, his London debut in 1905, and his New York debut with the Russian Symphony in 1908. Mischa Elman was a violin soloist with symphony orchstras throughout the world, and made many concert tours, records and broadcast appearances.

He joined ASCAP in 1924, and his classical works include "Romance" and "In a Gondola" (for violin), and transcriptions of works by Schubert, Rachmaninoff, and Beethoven.
