Milton Ng is from a small town, Legal, in Alberta where he grew up working at his parent's Chinese restaurant, New Diamond. As a kid, he's always been glued to reading R.L. Stine's Goosebumps and K.A. Applegate's Animorphs.
Fascinated by the story, Milton had a wild imagination as a child, to a point where his Language Arts teacher would bring him aside questioning his story sense and where he would get the inspiration from.
There were times where Milton would write a comedy and got in trouble because his teacher told him nobody would think it's funny.Milton went on to attend Morinville Community High School where he surprisingly took a drama class.
In his grade 12 class, the teacher assigned every student to direct their own playwright. Milton was the only student to choose to write his own playwright, "Cheating with a Cause". When Milton showed the play, his teacher shook his hand and congratulated him with a "Good job, Milton.
" It was this moment that became a turning point for Milton to pursue his dream of directing and though he was most likely to take over the family restaurant, he knew it wasn't enough to ignite his passion.
After being rejected by Motion Pictures at Red Deer College and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Milton applied to film production at Vancouver Film School and got accepted.Upon graduation from film school, Milton landed his first television gig on Smallville as a production assistant.
Further upon Smallville, he went on to PA more gigs to eventually joining the union as a grip. He went on grip on shows like Arrow, Power Rangers, Deadpool, and the Interview.March 10, 2017, was his last day as a grip on Arrow as he hung up his felt to focus on acting/directing/writing/producing his own content.
He would later go on to create "The Followers", his first superhero comedy web-series. (2014).
