Lloyd's contributions to the community have centered around children. He has been on the board of directors (Varsity Club) of former Los Angeles Lakers Star Byron Scott's Challenge for Children which raised funds for various child health related causes in Orange County, California.
Additionally, he participated in Christmas projects that benefit Child Health nationwide. He also is head of the advisory board for the Child Safety Network to promote internet and child safety programs.
Lloyd has been continuing to work and support music and arts education through SC6 Music and Arts Coalition for children grades K-12. He addressed the PTA Conventions in Los Angeles and Long Beach (2008) and participated in other various events for LAUSD.
He is a featured speaker at the Taxi Road Rally Convention for aspiring composers and performers and has guest lectured at The Musicians Institute, UCLA and Pepperdine. Additionally, each year he is a part of the Career Day Program at Beverly Hills High School.
