Melanie Lyn Thompson was born and raised in Mission Viejo, CA in Orange County where she begin acting at the age of 11 at the Musical Theatre Village (MTV) where she was in numerous plays. When she was 14 years old she started modeling, but by the time she turned 16 she returned to the acting world.
