Matt Wiggins is an award winning American actor known for his commanding on screen presence.Mr. Wiggins is known for his portrayal of complex film and theater characters from iconic stories by Shakespeare and Bram Stoker to Charles Dickens.

He has performed in dozens of major repertory theater productions over 9 years, and has performed in lead roles in independent feature and short films. In 2018, Mr. Wiggins was nominated for his work by the Iowa Motion Picture Association and won a Best Actor Nomination and Best Actor Achievement Award for his work in The Dying of the Light.

In addition to his acting, Mr. Wiggins is a recognized "Champion" and "Ambassador" for the Iowa film industry. During his time in the Midwest, he aligned with the Iowa Motion Picture Association, Produce Iowa, and the Iowa Writers Alliance to actively promote and encourage a holistic approach to revitalizing the film industry in Iowa.

Mr. Wiggins was selected in 2013 as a member of the Board of Directors and hosted the 23rd and 24th Annual Iowa Motion Picture Awards. He is also an accomplished musician, song writer and vocalist. From his contributions as a lead singer with various rock bands to his live performances as the Phantom of the Opera in independent theatrical productions, Mr.

Wiggins has a broad vocal range and adaptability. Mr. Wiggins is also accomplished in the studio having released his debut album, titled Mindasylum Iswd, in 2008 and recording various other pieces for film, soundtrack and music productions.

He continues to pursue his passion for music and singing in Los Angeles.Mr. Wiggins is a graduate of Army Officer Basic Training at Fort Knox and attended New Mexico Military Institute and Drake University where he graduated with his A.

A. and B.A. in pre-law and political science, respectively, while also completing coursework in acting. Mr. Wiggins has served in multiple internships and staff positions for leading U.S. Senators, Congressmen, and the Iowa State Senate.

He is a graduate of Naval Officer Candidate School and proudly served the nation as a U.S. Naval Officer, training as a student naval aviator and later graduating from the Naval Justice School. Later, he served as the legal and public relations officer for the world's largest F-18 Hornet Squadron, VFA-125, based in California.

After an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy, Mr. Wiggins returned home to Iowa where he began working heavily in theater, independent film and contributing to his community. Prior to his move to Los Angeles in April of 2018, Mr.

Wiggins volunteered with the Des Moines Symphony, and Wildwood Hills Ranch. He was also actively involved in the Iowa Shakespeare Experience, the Iowa Motion Picture Association, the Iowa Screen Writers Alliance and other community organizations and is actively seeking similar opportunities in the Los Angeles area.
