In addition to producing the smash hit Hannibal for NBC, DLC is presently developing a diverse slate of projects for both film and television, including a Barbarella series with Nicolas Winding Refn for Gaumont International TV and Canal Plus, a series based on the novel Gateway by Frederik Pohl, a feature film entitled The Seventh Day, and a new project based on the Sandman Slim series by Richard Kadrey.

1980

She is known for producing films such as Breakdown, Hannibal and Red Dragon with her late husband Dino De Laurentiis, and TV series Hannibal. In 1980, she and Dino De Laurentiis founded the production company the Dino De Laurentiis Company, and she is currently the company's chairman.

1990

With her husband Dino, whom she married in 1990, she had two daughters, Carolyna and Dina.

2017

On December 16, 2017, she was awarded an honorary doctorate of humanities by her alma mater, Ball State University.
