After a successful 20 year career as a visual artist, whose work has been collected by Frank Zappa, The Smithsonian Institute, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art and others, Marks sculptures were used as central character designs in the 2005 Paramount/Nickelodeon computer animated production of "The Barnyard", written and directed by Steve Oedekerk(Ace Ventura, Bruce Almighty).

Mark also worked on the Pee-Wee Herman Show in 1983. This original theatre production was eventually made into a special for HBO....all this prior to Pee-Wee's Saturday morning series.
