Liz is a writer and creator with a B.A. in Writing from Johns Hopkins University and a Certificate in Shakespeare from The Royal Academy of the Dramatic Arts, London. After college, she studied at Actors' Theatre of Louisville's Apprentice program, where she won the Starving Artist 10-minute play contest and performed in original works of Rolin Jones and in the Humana Festival of New American plays.

She was later cast in Doug Hughes' A Man for All Seasons on Broadway. After producing her first short, "Traces," her film was an Official Selection in the Palm Springs International Film Festival. Her screenwriting's been awarded by the Academy Nicholl Fellowships and the Monaco International Film Festival.

As a TV creator, she's developed projects with Imagine Television, Team Todd, Gil Netter Films, Mar Vista Entertainment, among others. Her feminist horror-comedy is in development at Awesomeness TV, and her feature was recently bought by Hallmark.

Liz has a twin sister, has traveled to 29 countries and her most prized possession is her Underwood typewriter.
