Best known for her extensive work on Disney's animated hits Phineas and Ferb (2007), Sofia the First (2013), and Jake and the Never Land Pirates (2011), composer Danny Jacob calls Laura's distinctive and highly-adaptable voice his "secret weapon."Laura can be heard in Rogue One (2016), Sing (2016), The Grinch (2018), Universal's Pitch Perfect (2012) movies, on commercials for Priceline ("Priceline Negotiator!"), Maybelline, Subway, and Macy's along with the hit TV shows Gia Dinh Hien Dai (2009), Jimmy Kimmel Live! (2003), and Sieu Nhien (2005). Laura is serving as a vocal director and vocal contractor for Disney TV Animation, recently being featured on Elena of Avalor (2016) and Milo Murphy's Law (2016). Laura is also working as a vocal contractor on The Last Tycoon (2016).She lives in her native Southern California, performing both live and in-studio full time. Some of her recent performances include the The Talk (2010) with Andy Grammer, Late Show with David Letterman (1993) with Spiritualized, MTV Video Music Awards with Florence and the Machine, singing with Danny Elfman live at the Hollywood Bowl Nightmare Before Christmas, and opening for legendary artists Tony Bennett, Bob Newhart and Lyle Lovett. Laura's debut album, "One for My Baby - To Frank Sinatra With Love" (2014) released on Frank's 99th birthday and hit #25 on the charts, showcasing her love of jazz and her talents as a producer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist.

1995

She began long affiliation with the Walt Disney Company in 1995. In 2001, she met Deke Sharon and founded the a cappella group Groove 66 at Disney's California Adventure theme park. She also began directing, arranging, and co-producing the group in 2004 under the name Vybration.

2004

Since 2004, Dickinson has been the Principal Vocalist and Vocal Contractor for Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach, California. This job led to her meeting Danny Jacob, a Guitarist, Composer, and Producer. They collaborated on The Emperor's New School and on demos for the TV series Phineas and Ferb. Dickinson was a voice actor and vocalist for the series from 2007–2015.

2007

In 2007, she joined the music group Spiritualized on their Acoustic Mainlines tour, which ended at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. She sang background vocals on their album, Sweet Heart Sweet Light (2012), and toured with them throughout North America in May 2012. Their Huh? tour included an appearance on Late Night with David Letterman and concluded with headlining the Sasquatch! Music Festival. She has been the opening act for Lyle Lovett and Tony Bennett. In 2016, Dickinson began working with Alan Chang as Michael Bublé's vocal contractor. She directed the choir on his album Nobody but Me and is the featured vocalist on the first song, "I Believe In You."
