Born July 23, 1975 as Katie Heitman, she began her career in the video game industry as an animator, but quickly transitioned to art direction and package design. Her next move was to comic books, where she took over as writer and artist for Antarctic Press' flagship title, Ninja High School, then onto her own graphic novel Oasis Destiny.
Still not busy enough, she started creating wigs, props, and costumes for clients all over the world and created a 300 page complete guide to wig crafting to share her knowledge.After taking a short hiatus to raise her son, she returned to creative work as Writer/Director for the web series, Cafe Hoshi: The Dark World.
