Joram Willink graduated Management of the Arts in Amsterdam in 2000 and worked the following 5 years as film producer at Theorema Films and Dutch Mountain Movies. His feature film debut as producer 'Shouf Shouf Habibi' was official selection Panorama Berlinale 2004, won 2 Dutch Golden Calf awards and was sold to over 40 countries.
Joram also worked on the feature films 'De Dominee' and 'Bolletjes Blues!' and short films like 'Brommermeisjes', 'Talmen' (Golden Calf 2002, nominated Best Short Berlinale 2003), Ver Weg, Bad Luck en Vet! (Silver Bear Berlinale 2004).
In 2007 Joram Willink started his own production company BIND in 2007, in cooperation with Piet-Harm Sterk. BIND's objective is to tell striking, compelling stories with social relevance embedded in contemporary Dutch culture.
As creative producer Joram worked on several award winning short films, TV drama, documentaries and features. The short youth film 'Mimoun' was nominated for an international EMMY Kids Award and won the Prix Jeunesse in 2014.
'Anything Goes' won an International Emmy kids award and the TIFF kids award. "Gamechanger' was nominated for the Grand Jury Award at SXSW.In 2015 BIND released the feature film 'Son of Mine' (orig. title 'Gluckauf') in Dutch cinemas directed by Remy van Heugten which became one of the biggest NL arthouse box office hits.
The film was nominated for the Tiger Award at International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) and several other awards and honorable selections. In 2015 Joram Willink won with his production company BIND an International EMMY kids award for the TV movie 'Anything Goes' by director Steven Wouterlood.
The film had already won several awards before that, amongst them the TIFF kids award in Toronto. In 2019 the film 'My extraordinary summer with Tess' by Steven Wouterlood is selected for the Berlinale generation competition.
And BIND started the shoot of the journalism investigation thriller 'The Judgement'.
