Jon Riggs was born Jon Paul Riggs on Sep 15,1975 in Tuba City, Az. He was raised with two older brothers and two older sisters making him the youngest of his siblings. Raised by his single mother Celia Jones (Riggs) she worked two jobs to provide for her family in Kayenta, Az later to married to Robert Gibbs a safety foreman for a mining company in there home town.
Jon's mother is full blooded Navajo born on the Navajo reservation and his late step father was Caucasian who was originally from Midland Texas. Jon has mentioned he will always consider Robert to be his biological father.
He was always a person of many talents and had an ambition of being an entrepreneur so he started his own automotive repair business but always had a passion for acting at a young age. He tried to incorporate acting of some sort into his automotive business by starting his own TV reality show along with actor friend Adam Beach but the show never took off due to funding.
He then started his venture into acting taking Miesner classes to get his acting career started. Due to the economy downfall Riggs had to close his shop doors. He took his acting career more seriously and reached out to acting coaches in his home town in Phoenix, Az.
In (2016) he had no luck in getting acting gigs so he then decided to write his first film "Untold Darkness" he thought if he couldn't get his break he would make his own luck by writing and producing his own films.
Working a day job and writing on his spare time for the next 3yrs he made his dream a reality by starring in his first lead acting role as Detective (Dean Greyson) in his first film 'The Highway Girl".
Jon is now a full time actor and owner of his own entertainment production company in Chandler, Arizona called "Dark Whisper Productions" Being a huge supporter in youth education he is also the founder of IFFA (Indigenous Future Filmmakers of America) a non profit organization to help kids learn the art of film making.
