Jana Lewis is an American actress, singer, and ballroom-dancer-in-training from the San Francisco Bay Area. She is the eldest of four children, and only daughter born to working-class parents Art and Patricia Lewis.
Jana was home-schooled on and off for most of her childhood, and spent "recess" lost in make-believe; recording "radio shows" onto cassette tapes using a toothbrush as a microphone in the mirror with a wide cast of characters (all played by herself).
Weekends were full of chain-reading mystery novels, helping with her brother's little league games, and playing in nearby woodsy creeks, hiking and catching Salamanders with her late father.
