He counseled them when needed and wanted to make sure that their education was the best. Jim wanted to give them the knowledge they needed so that they would have a great life. He took his teaching career as far as he could, but realized even teaching had its limitations.
By the time his last day in the classroom arrived, Jim had spent about three years in and around the North Texas film industry. Filmmaking was his calling before he even had his first drivers license and remained his passion, his dream and his calling.
He could do nothing else.Through the years, Jim has had the opportunity to work with many talented crew, personal and Actors. Jim wanted to create work which would educate, stimulate and inspire others to find their place in the world and improve their lives.
He has had the privilege to write, direct, and, of course, produce. So, he started his own independent production company, Sonus Filmworks LLC, which has grown every year in leaps and bounds, bringing in talented partners, each one possessing expertise in TV, Film, Commercials, Music Videos and much more.
The best part is that each of the talented partners working with Sonus Filmworks continues to follow Jim's dream of how we can make entertainment to better the lives of those who watch. Other film companies were interested in the money, not making our world a better place.
Being the original founder of Sonus Filmworks brought the company several opportunities to produce commercials, training videos, corporate in-house videos and short documentaries.Jim has had the honor of producing work for worldwide industry giants such as Walmart, Twisted R Entertainment Group, General Electric, MGM resorts, Twisted R Ranch and many more.
Recently, while producing a video for the Twisted R Ranch in Texas, Jim had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is an International Supermodel. Miss Abigail Rich was so pleased with his work she hired Jim for more projects.
