Heath McKnight began work his first feature film in 1998 with Skye Falling (2001) which filmed in 1999 and was released July 30, 2001. The film represented the beginning of Heath's professional filmmaking career.

He followed up Skye Falling with several shorts, including on both Push/Pull (2003), A Reminder (2004), Release Me (2005) & 3 Sisters (2005), and "Suzy's Out," which is in post-production. In October 2006, he produced and directed his next feature called "9:04 AM," currently in post-production released in April 2007 at the Palm Beach International Film Festival.

Heath worked on Poorman's Bikini Beach (2000) as an editor in Orange County and Los Angeles, California. He also line produced a short horror film written and directed by Lance Stranahan called "In the Flesh," and a short comedy, "Mintz Meats" written by Steve Alten, New York Times best-selling author and writer of the upcoming adaptation, Meg (????/II).

He recently co-produced the feature film December (2010) for writer/director Gary Dresden, which was actor Jeff MacKay's final starring role. His next film will be a superhero movie based on his own characters.

Heath founded and was the President of the Palm Beach Film Society, a non-profit that presents the Voices of Local Film night at the Palm Beach International Film Festival.
