Ryan was born and raised in the hinterland in Australia. When she was five she attended dance courses in classical ballet, hip hop, contemporary dance, and tap dance. Platt as well as Head of Disney, David Schrader.Ryan then relocated to Los Angeles and landed roles in American Eggs, Brixton (directed by James Van Alden) and BRAT, as well as being featured in Flaunt Magazine, Dazed and Profile Magazine.
