A native of Portland, Oregon, Graham moved to Los Angeles shortly after graduating from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Film & Digital Media in 2000. His first job in the film/TV industry was producing a recurring pay-per-view promo with Pat Morita (The Karate Kid) for in-hotel movie distributor DemandVideo.
While trying to figure out what story he wanted to tell first, Graham met boxer Carlos "Famoso" Hernandez and his wife Veronica and felt that their story had tremendous potential. Despite coming from a theatrical background and never having been previously drawn to documentary filmmaking, he found that their story lent itself to a very cinematic style of storytelling and fell in love with the idea immediately.
The documentary, More Than Famous, was picked up by HBO/Latino. Graham is now focusing on non-documentary features and has a handful of projects in the works.
