EMG's best known credits include The Academy Awards, The Emmys, Kennedy Center Honors, HBO's "Sopranos," "Sex and The City" and "Entourage," ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "Ellen.

"Evan holds a degree in music from the University of Pennsylvania where he was a perfomer and writer in the Mask and Wig Club, an on-air host at WXPN radio, and the sackbut player in the Collegium Musicum.

He went on to earn an MFA in Theater from UCLA, where he won the Hersher Prize for original music for the stage.He began his professional career as a film and TV composer and remains an active writer/publisher member of ASCAP.

In 1983, he founded the music department at Alan Landsburg Productions under Mark Pedowitz, handling music business affairs for "That's Incredible," "Gimme A Break" and numerous MOWs. In 1985, he left Landsburg to became music rights executive on "Star Search" with Ed McMahon, overseeing music licenses through the series conclusion in the mid-1990's.

Evan's company was founded in 1987 with "Star Search" and "It's Showtime at the Apollo" as primary clients. EMG soon became affiliated with the music-driven promotion campaigns at Fox, handling Fox's on-air promo music clearances for over a decade.

In the 90's, EMG handled music rights for Witt-Thomas-Harris series such as "The Golden Girls" and "Empty Nest," the 1992 Clinton Inauguration, the premiere season of "Late Night with David Letterman" at CBS (1993), "Married with Children," and the syndicated release of the first 25 seasons of "Saturday Night Live" a massive project requiring clearance of over 5,000 copyrights.

More recent EMG highlights include Celine Dion's "A New Day" in Las Vegas, and the clearance of the DVD reincarnations of classic series such as "The Honeymooners: The Lost Episodes," "The Midnight Special," and "The Carol Burnett Show.

"Evan is a voting member of the Academy of Television and Arts and Sciences, Past President of the California Copyright Conference, and a guest lecturer for Southern Methodist University, USC, and UCLA Extension and UC Berkeley.

He is active in the UCLA Chancellor's Associates, Theater Arts Alumni, and on the event planning committee of Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA.He is married to Liz Rifkin Greenspan; both are proud parents of Julia Brighton Greenspan who attends Adat Ari El Day School in North Hollywood, CA.
