Donna Martell was born on December 24, 1927 in Los Angeles, California, United States, is Actress. A native of Los Angeles, Donna Martell was first "spotted" at L.A. City College by a fellow student who worked for a Hollywood talent scout. Just 17, she made her motion picture debut (acting under the name Donna DeMario) in the Republic Western Apache Rose (1947) with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, her first of over two dozen movie credits. Later placed under contract by Universal-International, Martell acted in many of the studio's shorts and features before turning freelancer and establishing herself on television. Always busier on television (especially Western series) than in features, Martell dropped from acting in the 1960s, but has recently discovered "the convention circuit."

Born on December 24, 1927 in Los Angeles, California, to Louis and Margaret de Maria, she began her film career in 1947 when she was cast in the Republic Pictures western Apache Rose, starring Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. She continued making appearances throughout the late 1940s, signing a contract with Universal Studios.

1950

By the time the 1950s arrived, Martell's career shifted towards television shows such as Cavalcade of America, The Range Rider and Cheyenne.

1953

Donna Martell married baseball player Gene Edgar Corso on June 27, 1953, and are parents to three children.

1963

Donna Martell's acting career officially ended in 1963; but made a short comeback in the 1983 TV movie Grace Kelly.
