He has been an active member of the Cinema Audio Society (CAS) for 30 years, and is a 29 year member of IATSE Local 695 in North Hollywood, CA. Don has won 2-National Sports Emmy Awards. In his spare time, Don is active in the outdoors and enjoys rock climbing and mountaineering.
He also enjoys traveling, wilderness camping, canyoneering, backpacking, surfing and photography. He is also a licensed General Class Amateur Radio Operator (KA6ILV) since 1979. Don resides in Fallbrook, CA.
