Christina Schell was born and raised in Langley, B.C., where her love for dance began at the age of three. Her background in dance pulls from years of training and experience in all areas of ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, jazz funk, heels, cabaret, tap, and musical theatre.

Christina's background includes consistent participation in dance competitions across British Columbia. She attended Langley Fine Arts School (LFAS), where she was a member of their "Esprit De Corps" dance company for five years.

As a team, they traveled to Miami, Philadelphia and New York to train and perform. Upon graduation with a Dance Major, Christina received scholarships to Coker College, South Carolina, and institutions in Calgary, Alberta.

To further pursue her career in dance, Christina moved on to Vancouver to work and train with The Source- a pre-professional dance company under the direction of Joanne Pesusich. Following her season with The Source, Christina accepted a contract with Princess Cruise Lines on an eight-month contract throughout the Caribbean.

In 2010, Christina auditioned in Calgary, A.B. for season three of "So You Think You Can Dance Canada" where she made it to the finals in Toronto. Her audition in Calgary was aired across Canada on CTV.

Christina has continued to travel throughout Canada and internationally to China, London and Los Angeles, training and performing.Christina can be seen dancing and performing in feature films, "John Tucker Must Die", "Center Stage: Turn It Up", Nikelodeon's "Rags" and Disney's "Zapped".

Christina's recent credits include "The Man in a High Castle", "The Inbetween" and "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist". Christina also recently choreographed and played the lead in Marianas Trench's "Astoria".

Christina is a lead dancer and choreographer of a 1950's style cabaret group called "The Darlings Cabaret". The Darlings Cabaret is an intimate and interactive show that combines rock, jazz, and indie into their modern cabaret-style show.

The group performs sold out shows at Vancouver's favourite entertainment venue Guilt and Co in Gastown. You can also find Christina teaching at Harbour Dance Centre in Vancouver.Christina has her own podcast called Life in a Schell- an audio version of Christina's mind and life.

Christina brings creative people that inspire her on to the show for meaningful conversations. Christina's guests consist of musicians, directors, film makers, dancers, choreographers. Her goal for her podcast is to take it to camera.
